Rajesh Patel is a patent attorney in King & Spaldingís Houston Office. He focuses on patent issues in the chemical, mechanical, and electrical arts, including areas of patent prosecution, validity and infringement opinions, due diligence, client counseling and litigation. He has prosecuted U.S. and international patents based on a diverse range of technologies, including, patents relating to gasification processes, LNG processes, oil and gas downhole technology, oil extraction technology, reservoir optimization processes, water purification systems, flameless combustion technology, hydrogen fuel cell technology, fuse and fuse chip technology, electrical wiring device technology, medical devices, and software technology. He received a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin in 1994. Upon graduation, he spent five years working as a Process Design Engineer for Fluor Corporation and Jacobs Engineering Group. In 2003, Mr. Patel received his J.D. law degree from The University of Houston.
