Lotus Bowl
Abstract:
Milky white glazed ceramic bowl depicting a lotus flower design. Measures approximately 4" in diameter.
Isabelle's original bowl was created by slip-casting a bowl form out of porcelain and carving the petal design with an x-acto knife. Isabelle's hand-carved bowl was then fired and scanned. Next the form was printed by Viridis 3D, fired, and given back to Isabelle to glaze, sign, and fire along with the rest of her studio artwork.
